Occupational Therapist, Terrace

Creative Therapy Consultants is hiring a full-time community occupational therapist in Terrace. You will work with clients across Terrace and the Northwest, including Kitimat, Smithers, Prince Rupert, Hazelton, the Nass Valley and Haida Gwaii.

Who we are looking for

• A master's degree in occupational therapy (or equivalent).
• Registered, or able to register, with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
• Comfortable working independently and travelling between communities.
• A valid driver's licence and a reliable, roadworthy vehicle.
• Respect for diversity and an understanding that cultural context matters in each client's progress.

What you will do

• Assess and treat clients at home, in the community and at work, referred by WorkSafeBC, ICBC, long-term disability insurers and other funders.
• Build practical treatment plans with clients and work alongside kinesiologists, counsellors and rehabilitation assistants.
• Help clients get back to function and independence in daily life and, where possible, at work.

• $50.00 to $65.00 an hour, depending on experience. Higher rates apply in our regional offices.
