Community rehabilitation for Veterans across BC, delivered where they live. Plans focus on function and independence at home and in the community, and on work where that is a goal.
Services
Home and environmental assessments, equipment and training, wheelchair and power mobility assessments, and concussion and cognitive rehabilitation.
Trauma-informed counselling with registered clinical counsellors and a registered clinical psychologist. Occupational therapy for PTSD that works on routines, sleep, graded exposure and getting back to meaningful activity.
Home safety and aging in place
Fall prevention, home modifications, equipment and seating, caregiver coaching, chronic condition support and palliative support.
One-to-one functional movement and strength programs, progressed to the client's tolerance and goals.
Vocational assessment, transferable skills analysis, labour market research and job search support when work is one of the client's goals.
