Terrace

Community rehabilitation in Terrace and the Northwest, from our office on Park Avenue.

Occupational therapists and a rehabilitation assistant cover Terrace, Kitimat, Smithers, Prince Rupert and the Nass Valley. We see clients at home, in the community, at work and online.

Our Park Avenue office is downtown, a short drive from Mills Memorial Hospital. Terrace sits on Kitsumkalum and Kitselas territory. We travel Highway 16 west to Prince Rupert and east to the Hazeltons, Highway 37 south to Kitimat, the Nisga'a Highway to the Nass Valley, and Haida Gwaii outside the winter months. Work across the Northwest includes LNG and industrial construction, the aluminum smelter in Kitimat, the Port of Prince Rupert, forestry and mining.

Clients are referred by WorkSafeBC, ICBC, Veterans Affairs Canada, long-term disability insurers, employers and lawyers. The goal is function and independence at home, in the community and, where possible, at work.

To arrange community rehabilitation in Terrace, the client's case manager, adjuster, disability insurer, employer or lawyer sends a referral to referrals@creativetherapyconsultants.ca or calls 1-888-880-3222. We contact the client within 1 business day of the referral, and the client gets their clinician's direct phone number and email. Sessions take place at home, in the community, at work, online or at our Terrace office.
