Scott grew up in Waterloo, Ontario before attending the University of Western Ontario to study Kinesiology, graduating with Honours. Scott moved to Alberta five years ago, where he completed his Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta – Calgary campus. He now spends every spare hour in the mountains camping, hiking, scrambling, skiing, and generally being outdoors.
