Community rehabilitation in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, from our office at 306-595 Howe Street, opened in 2025.
The Vancouver team includes occupational therapists Alisha Manji, Julia de Haas and Jaci Benson, a kinesiologist, and registered clinical counsellor Claire DeWitt. Our kinesiologist and counsellor see Lower Mainland clients in person, as well as online. We see clients at home, in the community, at work and online.
Our Howe Street office is downtown, a short walk from Granville and Burrard SkyTrain stations, so clients can reach us by transit. We visit clients from the West End and East Vancouver to Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey and the Fraser Valley, including people coming home from Vancouver General, St. Paul's or GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre. Work across the region ranges from offices and health care to construction, the port and film production.
Clients are referred by WorkSafeBC, ICBC, Veterans Affairs Canada, long-term disability insurers, employers and lawyers. For ICBC clients we provide rehabilitation under Enhanced Accident Benefits and bill ICBC directly. The goal is function and independence at home, in the community and, where possible, at work.
To arrange community rehabilitation in Vancouver, the client's case manager, adjuster, disability insurer, employer or lawyer sends a referral to referrals@creativetherapyconsultants.ca or calls 1-888-880-3222. We contact the client within 1 business day of the referral, and the client gets their clinician's direct phone number and email. Sessions take place at home, in the community, at work, online or at our Vancouver office.
