Cranbrook

Community rehabilitation in Cranbrook and the East Kootenay, from our office on 13th Avenue South.

Occupational therapists and a kinesiologist cover Cranbrook, the Elk Valley and the Columbia Valley. We see clients at home, in the community, at work and online.

East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook is the main hospital for the region. From our 13th Avenue South office we travel Highway 3 east to Fernie and the Elk Valley, Highway 95A to Kimberley, and Highway 93/95 north toward Wasa and the Columbia Valley. The steelmaking coal mines near Sparwood and Elkford are major employers, along with forestry, the railway, and the ski hills at Kimberley and Fernie.

Clients are referred by WorkSafeBC, ICBC, Veterans Affairs Canada, long-term disability insurers, employers and lawyers. The goal is function and independence at home, in the community and, where possible, at work.

To arrange community rehabilitation in Cranbrook, the client's case manager, adjuster, disability insurer, employer or lawyer sends a referral to referrals@creativetherapyconsultants.ca or calls 1-888-880-3222. We contact the client within 1 business day of the referral, and the client gets their clinician's direct phone number and email. Sessions take place at home, in the community, at work, online or at our Cranbrook office.
