Lisa graduated from UBC's Master of Occupational Therapy program in the fall of 2021. She was drawn to OT because it is a blend of arts and sciences, and she has a love of working with people toward achieving their functional goals. Lisa started her occupational therapy career working in the public health system, in Home & Community Care, Acquired Brain Injury, and Health Services for Community Living. Lisa values building strong relationships with clients and their families to empower and enable them to engage in the parts of their lives that bring the most fulfillment and enjoyment. Lisa is interested in many clinical areas, but has special interest in concussion/mTBI, musculoskeletal injury, persistent pain, mental health, return-to-work, and home accessibility. She currently lives and works in Invermere, BC. In her spare time she loves exploring the local Inveremere outdoors.
