Kamloops

Community rehabilitation in Kamloops and the Thompson region, from our office on 4th Avenue.

The Kamloops team includes occupational therapists, kinesiologists, registered clinical counsellors, vocational rehabilitation consultants and employment specialists. We see clients at home, in the community, at work and online.

Our 4th Avenue office is downtown, a short drive from Royal Inland Hospital. We take the Coquihalla to Merritt, Highway 5 up the North Thompson to Barriere and Clearwater, and the Trans-Canada to Chase, Ashcroft and Cache Creek. Local work includes mining at Highland Valley Copper near Logan Lake and the New Afton mine, the pulp mill, ranching, the railways, trucking and Thompson Rivers University, so many return-to-work plans are built around physical jobs.

Clients are referred by WorkSafeBC, ICBC, Veterans Affairs Canada, long-term disability insurers, employers and lawyers. The goal is function and independence at home, in the community and, where possible, at work.

To arrange community rehabilitation in Kamloops, the client's case manager, adjuster, disability insurer, employer or lawyer sends a referral to referrals@creativetherapyconsultants.ca or calls 1-888-880-3222. We contact the client within 1 business day of the referral, and the client gets their clinician's direct phone number and email. Sessions take place at home, in the community, at work, online or at our Kamloops office.
