Community rehabilitation in Powell River and the Sunshine Coast. There is no office in Powell River; occupational therapists from our Vancouver Island team serve the area.

Occupational therapists and a kinesiologist serve Powell River. We see clients at home, in the community, at work and online.

qathet General Hospital serves Powell River, Lund, Texada Island and the Tla'amin Nation. Our clinicians reach Powell River on the ferry from Comox and see clients online between visits. Local work includes forestry, health care, the trades, tourism and small business.

Clients are referred by WorkSafeBC, ICBC, Veterans Affairs Canada, long-term disability insurers, employers and lawyers. The goal is function and independence at home, in the community and, where possible, at work.

To arrange community rehabilitation in Powell River, the client's case manager, adjuster, disability insurer, employer or lawyer sends a referral to referrals@creativetherapyconsultants.ca or calls 1-888-880-3222. We contact the client within 1 business day of the referral, and the client gets their clinician's direct phone number and email. Sessions take place at home, in the community, at work or online, and the nearest CTC office is in Nanaimo.
