Nanaimo

Community rehabilitation in Nanaimo and central and northern Vancouver Island, from our office on Uplands Drive.

Our Vancouver Island occupational therapists and kinesiologist cover the Island from Nanaimo north to Port Hardy and west to Tofino. We see clients at home, in the community, at work and online.

Our Uplands Drive office is in north Nanaimo, a short drive from Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. We take Highway 19 north through Parksville, Qualicum Beach, the Comox Valley and Campbell River to Port McNeill and Port Hardy, and Highway 4 west to Port Alberni, Tofino and Ucluelet. Work on the Island includes forestry, fishing and aquaculture, the ferries, construction and tourism.

Clients are referred by WorkSafeBC, ICBC, Veterans Affairs Canada, long-term disability insurers, employers and lawyers. The goal is function and independence at home, in the community and, where possible, at work.

To arrange community rehabilitation in Nanaimo, the client's case manager, adjuster, disability insurer, employer or lawyer sends a referral to referrals@creativetherapyconsultants.ca or calls 1-888-880-3222. We contact the client within 1 business day of the referral, and the client gets their clinician's direct phone number and email. Sessions take place at home, in the community, at work, online or at our Nanaimo office.
