Community rehabilitation in Vernon and the North Okanagan. There is no office in Vernon; clinicians from our Okanagan team visit clients here.

Occupational therapists, kinesiologists, registered clinical counsellors and rehabilitation assistants serve Vernon. We see clients at home, in the community, at work and online.

Vernon Jubilee Hospital is the main hospital for the North Okanagan, and we can start home visits soon after a client is discharged. We travel Highway 97 from Lake Country through Vernon, Armstrong and Enderby, east to Coldstream, Lumby and Cherryville, and over to Salmon Arm on the Shuswap. Work here includes forestry and sawmills, farming, construction, and tourism around Silver Star and the lakes.

Clients are referred by WorkSafeBC, ICBC, Veterans Affairs Canada, long-term disability insurers, employers and lawyers. The goal is function and independence at home, in the community and, where possible, at work.

To arrange community rehabilitation in Vernon, the client's case manager, adjuster, disability insurer, employer or lawyer sends a referral to referrals@creativetherapyconsultants.ca or calls 1-888-880-3222. We contact the client within 1 business day of the referral, and the client gets their clinician's direct phone number and email. Sessions take place at home, in the community, at work or online, and the nearest CTC office is in Kelowna.
