Community rehabilitation in Williams Lake and the Cariboo, from our office on North 1st Avenue.
Occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants and a registered clinical counsellor serve Williams Lake, 100 Mile House and Quesnel. We see clients at home, in the community, at work and online.
Our North 1st Avenue office is downtown, and Cariboo Memorial Hospital is the regional hospital for the Cariboo. We drive Highway 97 south to 100 Mile House and north to Quesnel, west on Highway 20 into the Chilcotin, and out to Horsefly and Big Lake. Work here includes ranching, forestry and sawmills, and mining at Gibraltar near McLeese Lake and Mount Polley near Likely. Williams Lake is on Secwepemc territory, home of the Williams Lake First Nation, and is known for the Williams Lake Stampede.
Clients are referred by WorkSafeBC, ICBC, Veterans Affairs Canada, long-term disability insurers, employers and lawyers. The goal is function and independence at home, in the community and, where possible, at work.
To arrange community rehabilitation in Williams Lake, the client's case manager, adjuster, disability insurer, employer or lawyer sends a referral to referrals@creativetherapyconsultants.ca or calls 1-888-880-3222. We contact the client within 1 business day of the referral, and the client gets their clinician's direct phone number and email. Sessions take place at home, in the community, at work, online or at our Williams Lake office.
